Geisha Anya Card.. August OCS

Hello Ladies.
I have been out of the loop this past weekend, I took a nasty fall on Saturday and I hurt my knee really bad. I won't get into the details because I don't want to bring you all down. :0)
So today I want to share with you all my Asian themed card that I made for Teri. Teri and I where partnered up for a one card swap group we are both part of. Actually Teri is the creator of this swap. So for the month of August our theme was an Asian inspired card. Well, let me tell you all I was so excited. I have been wanting to play with my Geisha Anya for sometime now, but haven't found a reason to. So when this theme came around I was over the roof that I would finally be able to color her in. I also had found this incredible Palace stamp in a clearance bin when I went shopping one afternoon and I just loved it. I have been to Japan and ladies I just love it there. Ok, so here are the pics, I hope you like.

What did you think? I just love the way this card came out. I colored the Palace and Geisha Anya with Copics, and the fan frame I colored with LuminArte on vellum. I also decorated the inside of the card but I forgot to take pictures before I sent it out. I really hope that Teri and you all like it. I worked really hard on the coloring. And the concept was truly inspired by my travels to Japan. All the colors are traditional Japanese colors that you would see in Japan. Thanks for stoping by and please, please let me know what you think.

Cards, Cards, Cards...

Hello Girls...
Thanks for coming back to join me on my blog... Before I start to share the cards I made last night, I want to say "Thank You" to all you wonderful ladies that have left comments on my post. You all can't believe how encouraging all those kind comments are to me. I really appreciate the support and it truly does push me to continue to create. I love to hear all your thoughts and I really do read them all. I also want to send out a special thank you to Linda, who I recently saw had featured my little blog on her site. Linda you don't know how touched I was to see that and how honored I was that you thought of sharing my blog to all your followers, thank you. You are truly my friend.
Ok enough of the mushy... So tonight I would love to share with you some cards that I made for Munchkins DT. I tried a lot of new things with these cards. First I have never made a Halloween themed card; but these cuties, I got over at Cyn's, just called out to me. I hope you like it. It's simple I know but I really wanted to showcase these cuties.

Next we have a TGF (Hope & Grace, Sing). Well Living in Hawaii and all I just had to use her..Isn't she cute. Ok so this card is different because it's a swings up and down and all around (hey I rhymed LOL).

Last but not least, we have Soccer Popcorn Bear. Isn't he just adorable? and he is playing the best sport in the World!!! (I am a huge fan of a certain soccer team..Can you guess which one by his uniform?) I was so excited when Cyn brought this little guy in that I ran right over to Munchkins and swooped him up. The great thing about this line is that Cyn already got Christmas ones in too..

Well Thanks for stopping in again girls. I hope you like, and let me know what you think...
Big Hugs,

A quick Post for Today

Happy Sunday to you all,

This is a quick post before we head out. I had wanted to post these pics of a card I made for Munchkins DT last night, but I could not get into my blog. So here they are. I wanted to share them with you all and I truly hope you like it. I tried something different with this little sprout from TGF. I used watercolor pencils to color her. I tried to blend 3 shades of each color to give it a blend effect like I do with my Copics. I am not sure if I succeeded, please let me know what you think.

Have a great morning and please stop by some time tonight I will post my card class sample for Munchkins. It's an Anya Double slider card.
Hugs to you all,

Back to School Card..

Good Day my Fellow Crafters,
I am happy to bring you another card today. This card is another Design team card that I created for Munchkins. I am titling it "Back to School," because it would be a perfect card to stick in a special students backpack wishing them a great year and encouraging words to help set the tone for them. Growing up, I remember always finding little notes in my coat or sack lunch from my parents and they made me feel great. I also always received some type of card from my Gram's encouraging me to have a great year and study hard. So when I saw this Tilda, I thought what a perfect way to portray that sentiment. I had actually slightly modified the original Tilda as she was carrying a present. Using the Copic MultiLiner pen, I drew in the lines to make the present resemble a tied up stack of books. Well I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it. Here she is...
Paper: Bazzill, Gina K, Creative Memories
Color: Copic E00,E11,E13,E31,E35,R20,R08,V000,V15,E49,E42
Embellishments: Prima Flowers, Basic Gray, Cross Stitching Floss, Bazzill Brads

Please let me know what you think of this card or any back to school memories you have. Thanks again for stopping by.
Hugs,

Late Post...

Hello again ladies,
So I tried to mess with my blog last week and changed somethings up. Can you all tell? Hehe. Well I also tried to set my posts to appear on certain dates and times and well that didn't work out so well as you can see, since this post was suppose to have appeared on my blog last week. So I am just going to manually post all week.
Ok, so here are some cards that I created for Munchkins' DTeam. Being part of the team has been great, I have meet alot of the team members like Mel who is over at DinoDucky Creations, Leona who doesn't have a site but is working on it, and Maribeth who is also working on getting a site. We have all been in and out of Munchkins lately picking up some incredible flowers that Cyn had brought back with her. Man are they gorgeous.

I will also have my class schedule up Thursday after I verify with Cyn if these dates are a go. Ok thanks for stopping by and please leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Like my heart says I luv comments.
Hugs,
